"...The minor fall the major lift..."

Currently in Vietnam

Just a quick update to tell you this blog ain't dead.

Was busy throughout Janurary with Wagga. I passed after 2 and a half weeks of little sleep, lots of work and tonnes of fun. Went out the next couple of days with Tata first then paintballing the next day. Ringleader and I had a good shoot out too bad I lost but still fun before the drenching rain came upon us. Was suppose to go out with Snaehrafn on Australia day but did not end up going so spend the day at home mixing and packing for my holiday.

Malaysia was fun. Uniqlo, Uniqlo, Uniqlo, Uniqlo all four days went to Uniqlo Kuala Lumpar. Shopping was good in Kuala Lumpar, cheap but the quality is not bad. Went to see the fireflies at night, bummer my camera ran out of battery. But it was really good. Looked like christmas lights. The next day went to Melacca and it was more of a historic place and I also enjoyed it. It looked like a port in the Neatherlands from the hill. Genting was happening on the next day. Too bad it was raining so the theme park was not much to see. The inside had a lot of shops so more window shopping. Was looking for presents but in the end did not get anything. Crab island was on the last full day of Malaysia and it was really cool how the people live such a simple lifestyle. I guess we got addicted to technology that we are missing out on what is really living.
Did I mention fish spa? You place your feet in a pool of water and the fish come along and eat your dead skin on your feet =)

Singapore was shopping madness. Shopping shopping and more shopping. Oh and more uniqlo. Crab was awesome. Walking from Orchard to Somerset was also good. Saw monks with Ipads and Iphones which made me laugh at the irony of it.

Currently in Vietnam. I have been told that I look either Korean or Chinese and everyone thinks I am big. Oh and that I look 5 years older than I really am. And between my sister and myself, I'm the older sibling which she is happy because everyone is saying that she looks young. Body massage was funny and enjoyable thanks to a good looking 26 year old lady who thought I was her age XP Went to see how people do those fires which are done to prevent bushfires. A cafe at night to which my requested song was played by the duet of a violinist and pianist to the latter knew my uncle who took me there. (Note the song was Canon which is very common) Looked at bridal dresses and wedding invitations as well as obtain a new pair of glasses, sunnies and a lens change because I am going more blind.

I guess thats my past two months in a block. I have been contemplating the future to which we are never certain of. How different will the future be from where we are now? To what extent will our actions in the present effect that of the future? That we do not know nor can we do anything about. Will the people we know now still be there in the future? What will happen to my position and my attitude and behaviour towards others and life will be like? Where will I be in ten, fifteen, thirty, fifty years time? That is within our power and that starts with what we do now either our actions or our planning for what is to come.
