She walked though the grass, a new life within her hands. It has been many years since she has been here and it was only the other day for she remembered to come. In her pocket was the reminder of this place, her past and something that was always kept in her heart. And as she approached the gleaming granite a familiar man stood in front staring past the grave.
A conversation strikes up the story of their lives and their connections of the man who lies underneath them. The new life which had just woken to bask in the sunlight and the smile on the man's face before the solemn silence of the man who had now connected both of their lives at that point in time. She left her past, forgetting the familiarity of the man and not noticing him taking it and walking away.
