"...I'm a flame, Burning bright, In the dark, Reach for the light..."
No more working at parents for a while...so now I have got to spend this time wisely between going out, playing at home and studying///doing holiday homework. Which I would like to say, time well spent. Today, cleaned up my room which includes almost all my drawers (the exception is the one with preliminary notes, cadet notes, hsc notes and my stash of papers and folders)
Melbourne was great as to say, in two days, many things happen...well in terms of stuff. Went to Vegetarian's hanging place, to his school, then to a place where Asians generally commune where we had dinner. Went back to his place and stayed there until morning where we got up to go to the city. Spend most of it walking around then going back to Crown casino. Had teppanyaki lunch at Koko where we met 'Uncle' Jimmy. He is an awesome man that I know of. My whole family laughed at his jokes and his comments about myself. I am definitely coming back to see him =P.
That was Melbourne in a paragraph. I cannot say more as I might disclose some personal stuff but yes.
Tuesday the forth was also fun, thanks for those who came. Again I will not say anything as it is personal and some people do not want anything disclose.
So any other outings....Well the only thing that is outing, that has been organised that is, is drafting with the guys.
A thought that is going through my mind today and yesterday night was reasoning. Reasoning with what we do, reasoning with what we say and reasoning for what our peers, friends, family do. I think that everything has a reason or anything that we do has a reason. Which is to say, a motive of some sort to do such or to act in a certain attitude or way. Every action whether it be friend, foe or family there is a motive behind it or a reason which has an emotional drive behind it.
To lose one thing is to gain another. That is how the proverb goes. However sometimes what we lose is greater than what we gain but it can also happen the other way, sometimes what we gain is greater than what we lose. The Wizard saying, 'Its like losing a Knut and gaining a galleon...' I believe this is true for almost everything. Whether it is objects, emotional possessions, friends but not family. If you lose a friend, you gain another friend, if we lose a possession we can gain one. Where this exclude time as a factor. Over time you can almost replace anything.
From this, We do not truly realise the importance of friends, possessions until we have lost it. Whether that is to time, distance or other demanding factors. I believe its the strong emotions which carry such an object when it has left, the memories flood back into us and pangs our hearts or emotions. Therefore sometimes we can lose something and gain something but our memories are still there, not until we too have lost our minds.
We die with nothing, we live with everything.....That is when we die we cannot take anything (object wise) with us. But we can live with all such objects, possessions and friends.
Time is a factor to everything. Materials deteriorate over time. Friendships build and fall over time. Mountains break down over time. People die over time. Wounds heal over time. And emotions manifest and die over time. Time is of utmost importance if we can utilise such to its fullest potential we can gain numerous and tremendous amount of prosperity and joy.
I guess that's it for today....Till next time....
